Oncologic surgery pertains to the challenging field of cancer surgery. Like humans, our pets can also develop tumours.

With appropriate investigation and treatment, many tumours can be treated successfully. 

Our veterinary referral hospital is superbly equipped with state of the art equipment and operating theatres. Outstanding infection control protocols are in place to minimize the risk of surgical related  infection(s). Our surgical service is enhanced by the latest technologies in diagnostic imaging provided by our vet imaging specialists. Computed tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) ultrasound and digital radiography (DR) are all available on site and are vital for assessing tumour spread and planning surgery.

The Oncological Surgical Service is ably supported by our Internal Medicine and oncology Services. For many cases, a consultative and collaborative approach between the departments ensures optimal patient outcomes.
