Scott has practiced in a variety of veterinary jobs including dairy practice, mixed and small animal practice in Victoria and the UK.
Scott grew up in Western Victoria around Stawell and after secondary school Scott completed a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Biochemistry at Monash University.
He then attended the University of Melbourne Veterinary School and was awarded a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with honours in 1999. Scott passed specialist examinations in Small Animal Internal Medicine with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2017.
As part of a 3 year residency at the University of Melbourne, Scott has completed externships in the United States (Colorado) and England (Liverpool) and was on the ANZCVS membership examination committee (2017, 2018).
